11 to 32 Stations

Talkaphone's Area of Refuge (AOR) systems for 11 to 32 stations provide two-way emergency communication from either an elevator landing or stairway to the fire command center.

These systems are fully compliant with the requirements of:

IBC (2018) §1009
ICC A117.1 (2017) Ch. 7
ADAAG (2010) Ch. 7

In compliance with these requirements, these systems automatically and continuously supervise for integrity (opens, shorts, and system ground fault), low battery backup, and AC input power fail—alerts by sounder, LED, or relay output to an addressable fire panel.

Command Units

Fully integrated analog Command Units accommodate 11 to 32 or 10 ADA-compliant Area of Refuge Call Stations. The Command Unit provides both audible and visual indicators for an incoming call--LED lights indicate the calling location.

Call Stations

Hands-free, ADA-compliance two-way emergency communication endpoint for calling a constantly attended Command Unit or to an approved off-site answering point.

Accessories

Area of Refuge (AOR) systems support accessories ranging from flush mount trim rings to a network-based event supervisor.
