Job Description

Business Development Manager, Full Time, 4-year degree with experience in security sales and business development.

What we do:

Talkaphone’s outside sales organization focuses on Business Development calling on end-users, Account Management working with Distributors and Representatives and conducting training for Consultants, Integrators, Electrical Contractors and Architect & Engineering firms.

Job Requirements

Strong background in the commercial security space with at least 3 years of experience in Sales or Business Development. Stellar written, verbal, and presentation skills are a must. Comfort with Salesforce and prior experience in sales development and travel important. Travel expectations consistently 50%-60% to a multi-state region.


  • This is a HUNTER position with autonomy to leverage relationships through high touch activity.
  • Execute a strategy to grow territory sales and explore new vertical markets
  • Work with outside independent reps in the region as a force multiplier to manage key accounts.
  • Creates a pipeline of sales through CRM program (Salesforce) Compensation is a combination of base pay and commission based on the achievement of defined goals and targets.
