Regional Sales Manager- Chicago, IL

Role Summary:

Join Talkaphone, the leading designer and manufacturer of security and life safety communication solutions. Our company combines world-class communication products with cutting-edge technology to provide superior performance and value. We’re seeking motivated individuals to generate business opportunities and sales. The position would work in defined territories and report into the VP of Sales.

 

Responsibilities:

  •       Call on end-users in targeted vertical markets to develop opportunities and generate sales
  •       Provide account management with key Distributors and Rep organizations
  •       Train Consultants and System Integrators on products and system solutions
  •       Build a sales pipeline through the use of Salesforce providing monthly updates and reports

 

Basic Qualifications:

  •       BA or BS degree in business, marketing, sales, or technical related field
  •       Experience working in public safety and security market
  •       5+ years proven track record in technical sales proposing products and solutions
  •       Excellent work ethics, positive business attitude, self-confidence and motivation
  •       Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  •       Highly organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives on planning and executing a plan
  •       Knowledge in Google Applications, MS Office, and Salesforce

Role Summary:

We’re seeking an exceptional technical individual to configure and quote system solutions to meet customer specifications. The position will work with the inside sales team and report to the VP of Sales.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create new projects in Salesforce by quickly responding to inbound leads
  • Regularly pursue and close existing projects in Salesforce
  • Engineer system solutions for customer requirements
  • Work with consultants, integrators, architecture & engineering, and electrical contractors
